Faculty of Agriculture is a place for people who love ideas because ideas make a difference in the world; who want to think about the agriculture interaction with horticulture, plant protection, landscape architecture, dairy technology, economy, machinery, irrigation, field crops, soil science and plant nutrition and animal science, and human needs and expectations; who are fascinated by the power of nature while mindful of the unintended consequences of global warming, water scarcity, hunger and erosion.

Established in 1955, EU Agriculture Faculty is the oldest continuously operating agricultural school in the nation, but its greatest tradition is its commitment to contemporary education - of agriculture.

With approximately 2500 students in over 30 undergraduate and graduate majors, the faculty embraces its mission to promote agricultural facilities among individuals and communities in Turkey, the nation, and the world through integrated multidisciplinary approaches to research, creative activity, teaching, and community engagement. Our faculty boldly proclaims that we are reimagining agricultural activities for the 21st century.

We are located in Bornova, İzmir, a beautiful and affordable city located on the west coast of Turkey.
